Fisherman's Wife

The seasons change from year to year
The darkness, the silence your voice is all I hear
Your face rough and un shaven
Standing at the docks I wave and kiss my hand and blow to you
"I Love you Forever there are No Goodbyes"
The days that pass I wonder and pray
Your safe in God's hands
While you make the market you look up to the sky and say " that's my girl" always Praying
The days are full and the nights are long
With a pencil in my hand I write this to you
My thoughts about us
My thoughts about our future
From one Fisherman's Wife
To the pages of her private journal
Secretly kept are my seductive thoughts
While awaiting your arrival...
