Rain, Rain
Here you are again
Here in the Northwest we remain
The seasons that change
We face them head on
Winter, spring
Summer or fall
We all weather your days
With wet smiles upon our face
Through the sublime greens of
You’re Washington Evergreens
We trek by day upon wet sands
Ocean Shores is within hand
Listening for the howl of the
Winds from your core
Waiting for the darkness
haunted by
The rumble, the lightening, those Westport storms
We worship the Sun Gods several weeks
a year and listen for whispers of
Spectacular events to appear
While hiking your heavenly mountain peaks
And all those undiscovered
in betweens
All together we embrace your grace
With days spent here and there
Amid a typical Washington Day
